GASTOWN IN BLOOM:
SUNDAY SET STREET-SIDE FLOWER MARKETSThis past summer, Gastown BIA and the City of Vancouver worked together to create a car free series featuring a weekly setlist of community programming.
On of the title programs was the Gastown in Bloom flower Market. Flower House was tapped to support the market through vendor recruitment and management, site coordination, feedback collection and integration, and follow up documentation.
The project itself was a pilot project with the goal of informing the forthcoming Gastown Public Spaces Plan. Recently the City of Vancouver released their comprehensive project report, sharing incredible feedback supporting the continuation of the Sunday Set programming this summer..
